Deadmau5 in the T.O big Hau5

This show is definitely going to be in my Top3 of the year. It had everything necessary of a successful EDM show; An all-star line up consisting of Crystal Castles, MSTRKRFT, and Deadmau5, The 4th largest stadium in Canada with a capacity of 54,000, and a light show with the ability to make anyone feel like their on drugs. 80% of the acts being Canadian gave the event in its entirety a little more hype.

With special guest SOFI (Sophia Tofia) who does vocals for tracks ‘Sofi Needs a Ladder’, ‘One Trick Pony’, and ‘FML’, became a sure fire way of pumping up the crowd. The overall vibe of 17,000 people raging to the amazing production skills of Joel Zimmerman (The Mau5 for those who don’t know) put this essence of pure Canadian banger spirit in the air.

Here is a series of photos I shot in sequence format. The track ‘Catbread’, is a classic banger progressive beat and melody that was released by Deadmau5 a few months ago. Enjoy!

Yates Estate Anthem - TUNG

The past two nights have been INSANE. Wednesday night Congorock threw down an amazing set at Barracuda Pretty in St. Catharines and Last night(Thursday) Dadalife unleashed the fuckin' dada at the same venue. Both nights crazy after parties ensued at the Yates Estate and carried on until the sun came up - speakers were blown, friendships were made and brain cells were lost. Congorock and Dadalife dropped this Deniz Koyu track which sent the crowd into a frenzy on both occasions. Its been on repeat since September in the house and always gets everyone pumped up... it's impossible not to jump around and go crazy to this tune. ENJOY!

Anyways, good ol' Dada Life has decided to take this track and remix it, and as always, it hits real HARD. What else would they do? its Dada life! It hasn't been released yet (only says 'coming soon'), but it sounds like a pretty promising track. As per usual they made a fun teaser video to show it off. Check it out.

Also the swedish duo is coming to st catharines this evening, and if you've seen them before, you know you're up for a good time. Besides making beats that pound, their energy is contagious and is a recipe for a kick ass atmosphere.

This one in particular is a eargasmic remix of a Sandro Silva & Anjiro Rio track that has a sexy sexy drop and makes me feel like pounding my chest and running around a fire in the jungle. Play this puppy at a after party and watch everyone turn into a rabid animal.

The New Dillio

The new young gun hawaiian shirt rockin' Moombah enthusiast DILLON FRANCIS has graced us with a new track this week. This track, titled I.D.G.A.F.O.S. has been stirrng up a lot of hype over the last few days and i assume its popularity will only continue to climb. The track is a toxic mix of Moombahton, with Dillons distinguished use of 'Jump up' 808 kicks, and a heavy and raspy Moombah-Step drop. So go on, get this track, and pump it on some big speakers and crank the volume up to 11.
