This show is definitely going to be in my Top3 of the year. It had everything necessary of a successful EDM show; An all-star line up consisting of Crystal Castles, MSTRKRFT, and Deadmau5, The 4th largest stadium in Canada with a capacity of 54,000, and a light show with the ability to make anyone feel like their on drugs. 80% of the acts being Canadian gave the event in its entirety a little more hype. With special guest SOFI (Sophia Tofia) who does vocals for tracks ‘Sofi Needs a Ladder’, ‘One Trick Pony’, and ‘FML’, became a sure fire way of pumping up the crowd. The overall vibe of 17,000 people raging to the amazing production skills of Joel Zimmerman (The Mau5 for those who don’t know) put this essence of pure Canadian banger spirit in the air.
